IRC Channel
Already experienced with IRC? Click on the link below to connect directly to the server and Channel. Connect to #NSHelp (you need an IRC client installed to click on the link above.) We also have a Channel on Austnet for Netspace broadband help, it was kindly set up for us by Buzurk. On the channel we generally chat and discuss a wide range of topics, we also offer help to anyone who seeks it. The current OP's on the channel are:
*** Please do not beg to get OP access as we will ignore your request, the reason for this is we are trying to keep the channel as professional as possible and don't want anyone to be kicked off or banned for no apparent reason - This discourages people from joining the channel. If you have an IRC Client and would like to join in the discussion here are the connection details: Server: irc.netspace.net.au Channel: #nshelp
Download mIRC If you do not have an IRC Client, you can download mIRC which is the most popular from: http://www.mirc.com/get.html.
How to connect to the channel: (First Timers) After installing (or if already installed) Open a new server window (if not already infront of you) and in the text bar, type the following command: /server irc.netspace.net.au. You will now see alot of text scroll down, please read this information as it is very important, it contains the Acceptable Usage Policy for the server. After reading this text, in the server window type: /j #nshelp, this will connect you to our channel. *** People on the user list with @ infront of their names are the channel Operators (OPs for short). Please do not spam messages or harrass users in the channel, otherwise we will not hesitate in kicking you or we will ban you from the channel if we find it neccessary. » Back to Top |
